Jennifer is our resident flare-pant-loving / flower-child. She has a huge heart and a contagious laugh; she keeps YU fun and energetic. Apart from having a kick-butt personality, Jennifer comes in handy in almost every aspect of Yellow Umbrella. She is our go-to lady with the drill and electrical tweaks in the shop (probably skills picked up while she welded?! SO COOL), seamstress extraordinaire, crochet machine, and weaving enthusiast. Check out this awesome copper & leather air plant hanger she made (below)! We LOVE our geometrics here at YU.
Along with Jen, Jennifer does all of the ordering of the pretty YU products // their eye for trendy prints and clothing styles have made YU the fun shopping experience that it is. Jennifer is the trooper who also takes on the (not-so) fun part of the business - taxes and financial work. After an afternoon of digging through numbers and paperwork, some pinteresting and retail therapy in the shop are much needed. Check out Jennifer's pinterest (here).
Life outside of YU consists of 3 beautiful kiddies, her husband Andy, and their 7 pets. They love lake-side living // fishing in the summer and sledding in the winter are favorite activities with the kids.
This spirit-filled super mom has been a great founder of Yellow Umbrella and a PURE JOY for me to get to know as an employer and friend!
